Hartford Voter Registration Records Collection

The Hartford Voter Registration Records Collection contains checklists of voters and voter registration cards from the City of Hartford for the 1840-2009 time period. There are approximately 180,000 voter registration cards in the collection, which includes the records of women who registered to vote in 1920, as well as women who registered from 1893 on after gaining the right to vote on education issues.
