Records of the Superior Court, established in 1711 from the Court of Assistants, and which heard original cases and appeals. The court met once a year in each county. In 1978, the Superior Court merged with the Court of Common Pleas and the Juvenile Court to become the sole trial court of general jurisdiction in the state.
