Description
The Moveable Alphabet: Two girls at the Columbia Montessori Society (Columbia, Missouri), are selecting letters from the alphabet box to form simple words which illustrate the pictures on their rug. On the reverse side of each picture, is the word illustrated, which serves as a control of error for the child. This activity provides practice in forming words which is a preparation for reading and writing.
