Description
Peter Williamson (1935-2014) was an early environmentalist and researcher in the field of immunochemical analysis of blood group substances. An alumni of Princeton University and the University of Pennsylvania, Williamson authored and coauthored about 20 papers on bacterial biochemistry. Williamson's interest in Montessori education began when his oldest child entered the Children's House in Rosemont, Pennsylvania, in 1964. He joined the Board of Directors of the school in the same year. Later on Williamson was involved with the American Montessori Society, serving on the Executive Board Committee. Items include correspondence from and to Williamson, a biographical sketch of him in 1966, and a photographic print of him with his young children, ca. 1960s.
